Rye Whiskey Braves the Polar Vortex for a Performance on Homegrown Happy Hour

January 30, 2019

It may be below freezing outside, but this shot of Rye Whiskey will definitely warm you up!

The band, who's members are mostly based out of Monroe, stopped by the MusicTown Detroit studios on Tuesday for a live performance and interview on Homegrown Happy Hour with Frank Williams Jr.

Rye Whiskey has been making music together since 2012, and has been influenced by everyone from Luke Bryan and Kenny Chesney to KISS.

The country outfit got the chance to open up for Morgan Evans this past year, and is planning to continue to perform live throughout 2019. They also have a new album on the way, which they're hoping to drop sometime in late summer.
